Suggested Profile for Private Museum Collection?

JTW
edited February 10 in Installation
Hello,

Brand new here and trying to learn. Have installed and viewed several Profiles, but haven't found one yet that matches my criteria. I apologize if this has been asked before, but I've searched and cannot find an answer.

I am looking for suggestions for an already existing profile that will capture the following data for about 2,000 artifacts in this personal collection with map links and images of the item.

Accession Number
Formal Label or Description
Classification Code
Time Horizon
Geographical Area
Cultural Affiliation
Medium
Dimensions
Weight
Provenance
Condition

  • Hello !

I believe (but I'm not sure) that the isad(g) profile would cover most (and more) of the metadata you are referring to.
Did you try it already ?

    John
  • Thanks John, that one is on the list, I went with Dublin Core when I didn't get any responses. It's working ok for the most part, I may try an instance of of isad today as a comparison.

    Thank you,

    James
