Sorting hierarchical records by their identifiers

Hi,

How can I order hierarchical records by their identifier? Object records seem to do this by default but I wanted to be able to arrange other CA records. For example, I'm using collection records as my levels of description for archive cataloguing and currently in the 'location in the hierarchy bundle they are sorted by their preferred labels under their parent collection record.  I'm currently working with version 1.6.3.

Thanks
Katie

  • There's a directive for this in app.conf (/app/conf/):

    ca_collections_hierarchy_browser_sort_values =

    and this controls the sort direction:
    ca_collections_hierarchy_browser_sort_direction = asc

  • Thanks.
