Generating public presentation from search

edited August 2013 in Troubleshooting
I'm wondering if it is possible to search for records and then create a public presentation from the results. I see that you can create sets from search results, but it defaults to a user set. OR, is it possible to change the default status from user set to public presentation in the set editor? I don't see that either.

  • Hi, "user sets" can be published to Pawtucket in the same way "public presentations" can. In the search, use the "create sets from result" feature, then in the set editor make sure that Access is set to "accessible to public." As long as each object (and its media representation) is also set to accessible, the set will publish to Pawtucket.
  • I see. It must be another issue then because I am able to search for the set of occurrences that I created, but when I try to browse for it by clicking on the Intellectual Content link (my type for ca_occurrences) which appears on the main Browse page, it just inserts # after the url.
