Can I replace all features of Pawtucket through use MUSE open source / Europeana Fork?

edited August 2013 in Pawtucket
We are considering to adopt Collection access platform to use in our museum. However we would like to adopt the MUSE open source / Europeana Fork (https://github.com/jonathanrcarter/muse-opensource/wiki). It is possible?

I look forward to hear from you.

Thank you for you attention and help.

All the best

  • I'm sure it's possible, but it looks like you'd either have to:

    (a) Get your content into Europeana
    (b) Develop a component to let CA supply data in the JSON format this app expects
    (c) Export your CA data into the Muse database somehow

    (b) and (c) would likely require some development, but nothing too painful I think.
  • Hello Seth

Thank you for your help and answer. I realy did enjoyed the layout. However if it is so hard to do it I will try the Pawtucket.

    all the best.
  • I can't say that it's hard or easy. All I can say at this point is that it's not trivial.
