Advanced search by parent_id

Hello,

In the search_indexing.conf we've got this line for ca_objects:

parent_id = { STORE, DONT_TOKENIZE, DONT_INCLUDE_IN_SEARCH_FORM },

If we remove that "DONT_INCLUDE_IN_SEARCH_FORM", could this field be used in a search form?

Cause, right now, we can do it by something like:

xxxdnn2989.locaweb.com.br/collectiveaccess/service.php/find/ca_objects?q=ca_objects.parent_id:247

Thanks!

  • Yeah, removing that option will allow it to appear in forms.
  • Hi Seth!

    We did the reindex, but the field don't rendered in the advanced search form.

    we tried:

    {{{ca_objects.parent_id}}}

    with no lucky. we hardcoded it too,

    <input name="ca_objects.parent_id[]" value="" id="ca_objects.parent_id[]">

    but there's no result

    What we need to do?

    Thanks!

  • Nevermind!

    was a misleading configuration in search.conf
