Can anyone explain how to export data from Collective Access to an excel spreadsheet?

  • Create a display (Manage - My Displays) including whatever fields you wish to export to excel. Put them in sequence according to the column structure you wish to see in Excel.

    Run a search, browse, advanced search, or search-by-set to retrieve the records you wish to export.

    From the search results, click on the Export tools icon. Under the download options you will see an option for exporting directly to Excel, along with options for exporting to other formats such as CSV and Tab-delimited text.
