Default pages edition and new pages creation and edition

edited January 2018 in Pawtucket
Hello:
Here I am again...
It is supposed that I should be able to manage the Pawtucket (v. 2.0) since Providence (v. 1.7.5), but I can´t see the default pages of the Pawtucket from Providence... It is related with that "Gloval values"? How can we configure them?

And apart of that, despite we executed the script to be able to create new pages, there is happening a really extrange thing: in the "site pages" area, we have the button to create new pages, but when we push it, we don´t see any form to configure the page....

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,

Margari

  • Hi Margari,

You need to configure page types in templates.conf and then create a User Interface for editing the site pages.  Please refer to the wiki for guidance: http://docs.collectiveaccess.org/wiki/Pawtucket2:_Site_Pages
  • Thank you so much Sophie :-)
    Kind regards!

Hi Sophie! I need to create pages in different languages, showing under the same page name localized text based on the interface locale chosen by users. How can I accomplish this?
    Thank you

    Giovanni

  • The pages don't inherently take locale. You'd have to add a metadata element to the page configuration for locale and then filter them yourself.
