Where is the "Entity Names" metadata element defined?

In "Manage > Administration > Metadata Elements", I cannot locate "Entity Names" (=preferred_labels).
Suspecting it might be a hardcoded bundle, I checked the "Intrinsic Bundles" Wiki page, but it's not listed there either :(

Where can I find/configure this metadata element?

Thank you very much in advance.

  • It's preferred_labels. For import mapping purposes, it would be ca_entities.preferred_labels.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly.

I mean where can I edit/configure the layout of this metadata element:

  • You can't - it's actually a hardcoded element.
  • Roger that.
I understand that "hardcoded" means "defined in code" (rather than from the UI), where in the code can I find its definition?

And, is there some documentation (besides "Intrinsic Bundles" in the Wiki), where I can find which other metadata elements are hardcoded?

Thank you very much in advance :)

  • Anything labelled intrinsic is an actual database field in a table. You can find definitions for all of these in the various files in the app/models directory.
  • I believe part of your is answered here on the Label Bundles page:
