Video caption

We are running installations of Providence 1.7.5 and Pawtucket 2.0, and have several video files. My understanding is that Collective Access supports caption files for video, but I wasn't able to locate documentation on how this works. Can a caption file for a given video be added with the 'Add representation' option on the Media screen? And if so, what file types are accepted (.scc, .srt, .vtt, etc)?

Additionally, does the video player included in Pawtucket allow for a caption track to be toggled on and off? Or would that feature need to be created?

Thank you for your help!
