Providence - Related Objects/Entities field not working

Dear All!

When i start typing in the ca_entities field, i don't get any record (X does not exist. Create?).
Same situation with a custom list (a tag cloud), where the input field shows No matches found for "X".
Can you suggest me anything that could solve my problem?

  • Take a look at the configuration of the field under Manage > Administration to make sure it's actually a related entity field and/or doesn't have type restrictions preventing your match.

  • Hi Julia!

Thanks for your advice, it worked!
But i don't really understand how can you make multiple Screens with type restriction for custom UIs.
I've got 4 object types, and all of them has different kinds of fields.

    Here's what i mean:

I took this screenshot from a test environment, it's using nauman_0.xml template profile.
As you can see there are several type restricted Screens in one UI.

How can i use multiple Screens with type restriction and related fields in them at the same time?

    Thanks in advance!

  • The screens will only appear for the types for which they are restricted. Each can carry different fields. Does that answer your question? If not could you give me an example of what specifically you are trying to do via multiple screens with restrictions?
