Pawtucket 1.7.6 not displaying correct object view by type

In my instance, I have multiple object types defined, and multiple detail views defined by type in my theme. With 1.7.6, I found that the wrong detail view was being displayed.

As a temporary fix, I've replaced the code in line 450-462 of DetailController.php with the following code, taken from the 1.7.5 version of the same file:
if (!$this->viewExists($vs_path = "Details/{$vs_table}_{$vs_type}_html.php")) { $vs_path = "Details/{$vs_table}_default_html.php"; // If no type specific view use the default }

I've filed a JIRA ticket at in case there is a more elegant way to resolve this issue.
