OAI PMH Warning - DOMDocument and Request time too much

Hello,

I've been testing our OAI feed in preparation for the upcoming DPLA harvest and have found that after upgrading CA this fall, we are now experiencing issues that I'm having trouble addressing.

When I try to download our XML using validator.oaipmh.com, the records stop after 63 XML files have been created. In the 63rd file, there is a DOMDocument warning, which I've attached.

Checking this file at line 558, this section contains an if else statement "just in case the xml fails to load through DomDocument for some reason (e.g. a bad mapping or very weird characters)." It doesn't seem like this would be a mapping issue if the xml came through correctly for all of the previous files.

I also see here that Stefan says regarding DomDocument, "If you use namespaces you must define them or otherwise the underlying PHP component (DOMDocument) will complain" but I believe the namespaces are defined correctly in our conf file, I've also attached this file.

I have also found that when I try 'validate url,' all sections appear to be working except for ListIdentifiers and ListRecords, which say 'Request time too much:'

Please let me know if it would be helpful for me to add additional detail to this post, I'm new to OAI-PMH and may be missing something obvious.

Thank you!
katie
