Display of collections and objects as a single hierarchie

In the section Hierarchies in the app.conf, it is possible to configure the "display of collections and objects as a single hierarchie".
This would serve to present the hierarchical relationship from the backgrounds to the documents when the documentary groupings are described in the COLLECTIONS table and the documents in the OBJECTS table?
What values are indicated in the sentences?
How does this work?
Thank you.

  • Yes, this setting allows objects and collections to exist in the same hierarchy within the hierarchy browser. You simply need to set a relationship type and enable the configuration.

  • Hello Julia,
    Thank you very much for your prompt response. Could you give me an example of how this configuration should look in the file?
    Another question, is it possible to visualize the hierarchies browser in the table OBJECTS? If so, how and where is it configured?

  • Yes, this is how it looks in app.conf:

    Enable display of collections and objects as a single hierarchy

    ca_objects_x_collections_hierarchy_enabled = 1
    ca_objects_x_collections_hierarchy_relationship_type = related

    Where "related" should be set to whatever relationship type you'd like to use in your custom config.

    As for object hierarchies that is handled on the editor UI and can be controlled via the bundle "hierarchy_location" or via the GUI the bundle is called: "Location in hierarchy"

  • Thank you.
