Banned IP database?

I am getting a lot of spam via Pawtucket2's contact form. (All from Russia and surrounds) I have already modified the contact form for requiring re-entering the email. I would like to implement a banned IP database. Before I reinvent the wheel has this been done already? I am thinking of a plugin that allows manually adding and removing IP addresses and ranges from a table (with permissions), and then checking the Pawtucket2 contact form against the table before sending.
Any thought?

  • No we don't support that yet, but it's certainly on our todo list, along with a number of other anti-spam techniques. If you want to help us to build it the assistance would be most welcome.
