Trouble importing multipart identifiers

After several import tests I still can't seem to figure out why our accession numbers won't import properly to the Identifier field (pbcoreIdentifier).
Our structure tends to have the format: XXX.0000.00.00.A-Z, or XXX.0000.00.00.c1, etc. Is there some configuration setting I need to adjust? I always get the error that the ID is in use X amount of times. I’m currently looking to see what might be wrong in my mapper.
Any advice appreciated!

  • Can you upload your mapping and a sample of your data set?

  • Oops. I forgot to update: I figured it out. I had my mapping wrong, pointing to the "ca_objects.pbcoreIdentifier" instead of "ca_objects.pbcoreIdentifier.identifier". Once I changed that it all went ok. Thanks!
