Deleting Concepts In Hierarchical Lists

Hi, When one selects a concept to delete from Lists and Vocabularies there is an option to remove all references and beneath that there is an info icon with the wording "Child records will be deleted". Does this mean that if there are any children under the concept that are arranged in a hierarchical manner they will also be deleted or just the immediate child(ren) i.e one level down. Advice would be appreciated.

  • Further to the above I have deleted all Object Types and their hierarchical lists except one
Object Type = Architectural Concepts -- Concept-Building Components.
When I try to delete concept Building Components I get the message Something Went Wrong check the logs.
The apache2 log shows the following can anyone help please.

  • With reference to my first comment, on examining the database it seems as though when deleting the highest level of a concept in an hierarchical list all children are deleted.
With reference to my second comment I managed to get around this problem by deleting all references to Building Components from the database using phpMyAdmin. Time will tell if this comes back to bite me in the future. Unless someone has any other comment please consider this query closed.
    Thanks
