Providence - Uploading any type of file gets stuck at 4% for any file over 3Mb

Hi there, I looked at the forum and Wiki and couldn't see any similar issue, apologies if I've missed something.

At http://ac.kaldorartprojects.org.au, we have installed a test site. Everything seems fine at the moment, except when uploading any type of file (image, PDF, video), if it's over 3Mb, it gets stuck at 4% - screenshots attached.

We have checked the server limits, and we can easily upload these files using other methods, just not through Providence. Smaller files work.

Can anyone please assist? Thank you.

  • Which server limits did you check? Make sure the PHP upload_max_filesize are set to sufficiently high values. On most systems, by default they'll restrict uploads to 2megs. If your server is running Apache you may also want to see if mod_security is installed. If it is, there may be a security policy restricting things.
