pawtucket2 collections issue

Hello,
I recently installed the most recent Providence via git with the Dublin profile. I have done no customizations on the system with the exception of adding a couple of custom objects.
After having created new Collections, the "Collections" page as displayed by the Pawtucket2 default theme displays:
"No collections available"
Browsing for the Collection and its objects present no issues.
I tried rebuilding the indices to no avail (via the web interface and via the command-line tool).
The problem is consistent across internal/external collections and all object.
What do you think the matter is?
