type-ahead lookup

edited June 19 in Troubleshooting

When I have a list that renders as a "type-ahead lookup" in the user interface (in any field, from any list) it displays similar to this:
< span >Agriculture and Subsistence< /span >

with the < span > and < /span > before and after whatever item from the list that I selected.

Is this a bug? Or a problem with my browser? I'm using Google Chrome. I am using Providence version 1.7.8
Thanks!

Comments

  • I added spaces added between < span > for this comment because otherwise it doesn't show up in the text of my post. They don't render that way in my UI, they show without spaces

  • They should not be showing up. Have you changed the template that formats the lookup? It would be configured in app.conf.

  • John Torgerson said no, we haven't changed the template.

  • Ok it'll have to be looked at then.
