Automatic Object Identifiers depending on Collection and Sub-collection

Hi all,

I am new to Collective Access and I have so far followed all instructions and looked at all wiki info I could find regarding the multipart_id_numbering how to.

I cannot seem to figure out how to do the following:

I have an archive that so far (on paper) follows this organisation: Type-Topic-YearOfCreation-ItemNo.

So for example an item labelled LETT-HOLI-1987-1 would indicate the first letter (LETT) written about the holidays (HOLI) in 1987.

I was wondering how I could configure multipart_id_numbering.conf so that the label is assigned automatically depending on the collection that the new object is assigned to, with an incrementing number based on the objects included in that specific sub-collection (that is 1987 in HOLI, in LETT).

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you all for your help!
