adding alt text for images & icons

Hi,

Hi,

I'm trying to find a away to add alternative text for images & icons on our version of Pawtucket (http://archive.cfcca.org.uk/). I've put our public site through the WC3 validator & one of the accessibility issues related to their being no alternative text for images.

I can't work out which files I need to edit to be able to show alt text. Is this something that Pawtucket is capable of & can anyone point me towards what text I need to edit to add alt text.

Using Pawtucket2 and Providence 1.7.5.

Thanks
Katie

  • The current development versions of Pawtucket will generate alt text automatically from data and allow you to customize via display templates. With older versions you'd have to set it all by hand, and in many cases it's not easy to do this.

  • Thanks for letting me know. I was hoping it was just something I missed.

I think I should be able to work out how to set in by hand in most places.
