Log sort order by date not working

In the Log tab page of an object, sometimes the loaded data are not correctly sorted by date, and it is not possible to sort by date clicking on the header.
Is it a bug?

  • Probably.

Looking in the code, it seems that the function _getChangeLogFromRawData in /bin/ApplicationChangeLog.php, when grouping by unit (lines 307-310) acts like a "sort" on unit_id made on database, so modifying the initial datetime ordering given by the query.
So, because the ordering by time set with javascript does not work, the final displayed order is not correct.
Hope this could help to fix that.

  • Seth, it seems that in English the order by date works. Any idea to let it work with other locales?
