Related Collections

Hi, If you have created a number of collections using the "New Collection" function is it possible to display these collections in a drop down list when using the "Related Collections" bundle in a UI Object Editor page. It appears that a similar question was asked back in 2013 and the then writer was asked to file a ticket. Was this ever implemented and if yes how do you turn it on?? I am using providence 1.7.8. Thanks.

  • No, it's not. The assumption is that there are far too many collections in the average system to be workable as a drop-down.

That said, if you want the feature create a JIRA ticket for it and we'll see about adding it.

  • Hi Seth,
I take Your point regarding number of possible collections - will look at some other way to handle the matter.
    Thanks for responding.
