Custom profile and localisation

I'm Czech and I would like to use CA for genealogy archive/museum. So I'm planning to customise default profile and add few news object types like postcards, diaries, letters etc. Since it will be for my family and public speaking in czech, I have a plan to localise it. So my question is if I have to translate also strings in the default profile XML. Right now it's in english and french. Do I need to add czech locale or itt's needed for just the customised parts? I expect, that default profile strings are defined in PO MO files.

There's already a Czech locale, so the interface should be covered. You'd just have to express the values in the profile in Czech.

  • Seth, I know, but this locale is years old and not complete. I have a plan to update it. Ad profile, so I have to translate all strings?
