Adding sound to featured gallery

Any way to add sound to featured gallery? 
This isn't part of the default theme but I was wondering if there might be a way to customise simple gallery to get sound files to play on each individual slide of a featured gallery.

    Sure, something like that is possible but would require significant customization of the gallery views.
