Trouble setting up symlinks

edited December 2018 in Installation

I'm having trouble getting Bluehost to create the symlink between media directories. I've been advised to create a cronjob to run the script. I have CA set up in a folder called "providence", and I'm trying this command:

ln -s public_html/providence/media public_html/providence/pawtucket/media

But I keep getting the error: ln: creating symbolic link `/public_html/providence/pawtucket/media': No such file or directory

Any help?
