Reverse delete

Is there are way to undo a delete?

  • Not sure what the officially sanctioned method would be, for the down and dirty way go directly to your database, set the deleted bit for the relevant object row in the ca_objects table back to 0, and reindex it either via caUtils rebuild-search-index (will reindex everything, use with care!) or by pulling up the object record in CA (by writing the appropriate object_id in an object edit URL) and making a change.

  • We don't have a tool in the user interface to reverse a delete. You can undo the delete in the database, as yelto has explained.
